Client: Red Bull Australia
Role: Project Management, Design, and execution

The Brief: Converging from around the country and the world, the assembled 20inch crew got their first taste of the Red Bull Dirt Jam, in front of scores of enthusiastic Schoolies.

Set in the middle of the Gold Coasts most famous strip of golden sand at Surfers, the Dirt Jam was nothing short of incredible.

Before construction could start, a purpose built flooring had to be made that could withstand the weight of trucks filled with soil and earth moving equipment driving all over it, with a membrane that was specifically designed to hold all the soil in and keep the Gold Coast beach as pristine as the moment we arrived.

45 riders were invited, which quickly dropped to around the 35 mark. In the end it was Dave Dillewaard who took out the event, just beating out fellow Aussie Cam White.
